COMBINED SYNOPSIS

FA700022Q0097

Questions were due 16 Sep 2022, no later than 1:00 pm MST.

Eight questions were received before the deadline. The question and the answer are provided as follows:

QUESTION #1: “Would it be possible to provide a sketch of the bench? The description provided is clear enough.”

ANSWER #1: Yes, see Custom Workbench Sketch pdf.

QUESTION #2: “What exactly is a 16" powered shelf support?

ANSWER #2: Powered shelf support or Riser with electrical outlets to support the instrument shelf (looking for at least 15 outlets per bench).

QUESTION #3: “Where does the 58" modesty panel go?

ANSWER #3: The modesty panel is for support between the 2 legs, but is not required for a 4 leg bench

QUESTION #4: “Please explain the risers. What size are they?”

ANSWER #4: The risers should need to be narrow enough to allow the 58 inches of workspace needed for 2 cadets.

QUESTION #5: “Is 1-3/4" maple butcher block acceptable?”

ANSWER #5: Butcher block is not acceptable

QUESTION #6: “This is in regards with the solicitation subject above, I would like to ask if you have any sort of sketch/drawn Of the workbench you are requesting?”

ANSWER #6: Yes, see Custom Workbench Sketch pdf.

QUESTION #7: “What is Electric Blue Metal I have a few blue colors to choose from see attached”

ANSWER #7: The colors of blue that are acceptable would be Vidmar(Bright Blue or Dark Blue) and Lista(Blaze Blue and Dusk Blue).

QUESTION #8: “We can offer BLACK phenolic resin but not gray. I know the Academy wants everything to be blue and gray. So would they rather have black resin or gray laminate?”

ANSWER #8: The customer would like to keep the color scheme of Blue and Gray. Gray laminate is preferred vs Black resin.

There were no additional questions submitted before the end of the question-and-answer period. Questions submitted after the required period will not be provided answers.
