SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY! This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA700021Q0060 and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought.
The USAF Academy 10th Contracting Squadron anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 334516. Size standard: # of Employees 1,000.
Salient Characteristics: Imaging Cameras (12 each)
At a minimum, the Vendor must be able to do the following:
1. Monochromatic sensor
1. Minimum full-frame sensor size
1. Maximum pixel size of 4 microns
1. Minimum USB 3.0 interface
1. Minimum 16-bit pixel depth
1. Minimum peak quantum efficiency of 80%
1. Cooling to at least –35 degrees Celsius below ambient for minimizing thermal noise
1. Minimum of 2.5 frames per second for full-frame images
1. Minimum of 10 frames per second with binning
1. Capable of GPS trigger
1. Capable of 24/7 continuous operations
1. Able to operate on 12VDC power using batteries or a Universal power supply (90-240V AC/DC)
1. Compatible with Diffraction Limited AFW-10-50SQ filter wheel
1. Maximum back focus length of 10mm without a leveling plate
1. Maximum back focus length of 17mm with a leveling plate
1. Maximum body length of 152mm - Due to limited clearance between the camera and the fork, preference should be given to cameras with shorter bodies to maximize clearance between the camera and the fork.
Include in your capabilities package your DUNS, Cage Code, System for Award Management, expiration date, and any related specifications/drawings.
We are interested in any size business that is capable of meeting this requirement.
Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers.
All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Also indicate if you are the manufacturer, or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) you will be supplying. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated us of foreign national employees on this effort.
Respondents may provide, if any, additional feedback that would help us provide more clarity within the requirement/promote further competition
