About this file
This document provides details on a Commercial Solutions Opening solicitation issued by the United States Air Force. The solicitation seeks innovative commercial technologies and services to accelerate attainment of critical defense capabilities through prototype projects. Solution briefs may be submitted in response to specific areas of interest that will be outlined in calls to this solicitation. Individual contract awards are expected to range from $150,000 to $750,000 and the cumulative amount of all awards is not anticipated to exceed $25 million. Offerors are encouraged to monitor the beta.SAM website for additional details on specific calls and open periods, which will provide due dates for solution briefs, invitations to pitch sessions, and requests for full proposals or prototypes. The Air Force Academy and Air Force CyberWorx will evaluate submissions and make multiple contract awards.

Question/Response
1. Is there a ROM for the typical awards that are issued as part of this offering?
Response: Individual contracts are expected to be funded in the range of $150,000 - $750,000 over the full period of performance, yet these numbers should not be considered strict limits.
2. I recently found the CyberWorx CSO on SAM, but I don’t see an open call. Is this CSO available for submissions or will there be a separate call for submissions?
Response: The CSO is open for solution brief submissions.
