Questions from Industry
1. “Must be able to do samples in the Vis and NIR, a minimum of 1200 nm.”
0. Please clarify a VIS range minimum
a. Ideally, we would like to cover the full visible range down to 400 nm; however, at least down to 480 would be required.
1. “Must be adaptable to do samples in the UV down to 380 nm.”
1. Please clarify if the above are excitation or emission ranges.
1. If emission, what are the excitation ranges are needed?
1. Is polarized light needed/required?
a.380 is an excitation wavelength we would need for visible emission.
b.NA
c. Not currently needed, but ideally system should be upgradable to do polarized light experiments (an instrument that can not be upgraded in the future for poloarized light after initial purchase would not be desirable)
