RFI#01

Question 1: Would expedited delivery receive a higher rating over price?

Government Answer: No. As specified under the Evaluation Criteria of the solicitation post, the source selection processes and techniques are in accordance with FAR 15.101-2, Lowest price technically acceptable source selection process. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. Tradeoffs for expedited delivery are not permitted.

Question 2: Would you accept a different model of the Carrier brand that was greater/equal to the specified?

Government Answer: No. As specified in the solicitation post, this is a Brand Name requirement.

Question 3: Would contract extension be considered due to supply chain delays of specific models?

Government Answer: Yes.

Question 4: Would the contractor's past performance at JBSA-Lackland and/or NAS-FW JRB be considered for a higher rating?

Government Answer: No. As specified under the Evaluation Criteria of the solicitation post, the source acceptable source selection process. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. Tradeoffs for past performance are not permitted.

Question 5: Would a contractor's Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) classification be considered for a higher rating?

Government Answer: No. As specified under the Evaluation Criteria of the solicitation post, the source acceptable source selection process. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. Tradeoffs for small business socioeconomic status are not permitted.
