About this file
This is a Questions and Answers amendment to a federal solicitation addressing a target retrieval system upgrade.
The document clarifies that contractors proposing to replace an existing InVeris Gen1 target retrieval system with an InVeris Gen5 system or functionally equivalent alternative must include all necessary components in their pricing. If a proposed system is incompatible with existing rails, contractors are permitted to replace the rails along with any other system hardware required to achieve full functionality across all 21 firing lanes. All replaced or modified components must be itemized in the contractor's quote and reflected in the final contract price.

Amendment 1 – Questions and Answers
The purpose of this amendment is to:
Provide questions and answers for this solicitation.
a) Can the rails be replaced if the proposed system will not work with the existing rails?
a. The current system installed is an InVeris Gen1 target retrieval system. The intent is to upgrade this system to an InVeris Gen5 target retrieval system or a similar system that offers the same capabilities. Companies offering similar systems must replace all components necessary for their system to be fully functional when work is complete. This includes rails or other system hardware necessary for the replacement target retrieval system to be functional for all 21 firing lanes. All components that are being replaced or modified must be included in the contractor’s quote and final price.
