About this file

This document is a Site Visit Questions and Answers document for a tool storage project at Homestead Air Reserve Base. The document provides detailed specifications for tool storage requirements across multiple sections of a facility, including precise instructions for storage units, shelving, and key management. Key details include:

Specific storage requirements include four 5' cabinets with drawers in section 2, nearly 1000 parts to be stored in section 11, lockable storage areas with different keying configurations, and wall-mounted storage units in section 1 that are 24"-30" deep and mounted no lower than 42" from the floor. Additional requirements mandate solid shelving (no wire shelving), 18" clearance between shelf tops and 91" ceilings, and specific storage configurations for sections 8, 9, 10, and 12, including adjustable shelves, storage units, and desk/counter arrangements.
