RFQ FA664820Q0019 – Questions & Answers

1. What frequency has exotic/invasive removal been occurring over the past 1-2 years?

Exotic/invasive removal occurred on average 4 times a year. Contractors will arrange for their own dumpster drop off and pick up that will be coordinated with the Program Manager. Previous removals of vegetation took several days at a time, the last “Mile a Minute” Vine removal was a three day project. Removal days require planning and coordination with the Program Manager.

2. Will you please provide a copy of the latest monitoring/assessment report(s), including one with a detailed botanical/ecological assessment of the subject property?

Please email: bernice.ijore@us.af.mil , no later than 1200hrs eastern standard time, 20 Aug 2020, for a copy of report.

3. Could you please detail the Contractor’s role and responsibilities in “coordinating” the acquisition and plantings through the Connect to Protect program?

If Dade County Pines are damaged as a result of a storm the contractor would be asked to purchase and re-plant them. Plantings required in conjuntion with school outreach programs or Public Affairs events are minimal (subject to coordination and approval from Program Manager).

4. Can the submittal include resumes, or related project experience?

Yes, resumes and/ or related experience may be submitted with quote. Evaluation of quotes will be conducted as specified in solicitation.
