PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT

For

Airshow Fencing Homestead Air Reserve Base

Homestead FL Wings over Homestead 2010

PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT FOR AIRSHOW FENCING

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. Bicycle (French) barricades with limited snowfencing attached and construction type (chainlink) wire fencing (delivery, installation, and pickup).

2. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS.

2.1 Contractor-Services. The contractor will provide the following services:

1. 3500 LF of bicycle (french) barricades with no snowfencing. DELIVERY

SCHEDULE: Setup complete before 4pm on THURSDAY 11/4/10

2. 4500 LF of bicycle (french) barricades with snowfencing (snowfencing to be supplied by government). Snowfencing will be attached with tie wraps, no clipping off ends of tie wraps. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: Partial setup complete before 4pm

THURDAY, 11/4/10 with final placement on FRIDAY 11/5/10 between 6-11pm.

3. 700 LF of 8 foot tall construction type wire (chainlink) fencing—no snow fencing attached. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: Setup complete before 4pm on FRIDAY

11/5/10

4. 500 LF of 4 foot tall construction type wire (chainlink) fencing—no snow fencing attached. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: Setup complete before 5pm on FRIDAY

11/5/10

5. 12 ft x 8 ft Gate for vehicle entry opening

6. All items will be removed by contractor MONDAY, 11/8/10

2.2 Equipment. Equipment failure shall not alleviate the contractor from performing any requirement contained in this contract.

2.3 Miscellaneous Requirements

1. Report fire hazards, unsafe conditions, and items in need of repair to the contract Point Of

Contact (POC)

2. Turn in lost and found articles to the POC

3. Notify Security Forces when unauthorized or suspicious persons are seen on the premises.

4. Government Furnished Trash Removal. Limited trash removal will be provided by the

Government.

5. Utility Conservation. The Contractor shall adhere to all base level utility conservation practices or requirements. The Contractor shall be responsible for operating under conditions that prevent waste of utilities.

6. Security, Fire and Medical Services. The Government will provide police and fire protection. In the event of a medical emergency, base ambulance service for transporting an injured employee to a local hospital is available on a cost reimbursement basis.

3. GENERAL INFORMATION

3.1 Traffic Laws. The Contractor and its employees shall comply with base traffic regulations.

3.2 Safety Requirements and Reports. The Contractor shall perform work in a safe manner as required by OSHA Safety and Health Requirements. Provide a verbal report to the CO as soon as possible of each occurrence of damage to Government property or an accident resulting in death, injury, occupational disease, or adverse environmental impact. Provide a completed copy of required Accident Investigation Reports to the CO within five calendar days of each occurrence.

4. QUALITY CONTROL. The contractor shall develop and maintain a quality control program to ensure each performance is satisfactorily performed and address any deficiencies communicated by the POC in a timely manner.
