About this file

This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file for a procurement opportunity involving Blue Halo Skyview units. The first question clarifies warranty requirements, with the government seeking 3 units that have a total of 9 years of warranty coverage. Specifically, the purchaser wants each unit to have a continuous three-year warranty, which can be structured as either three 3-year warranties or nine 1-year warranties.

The second question addresses a potential DD254 document, which the government indicates they are still verifying with the customer. If required, they will include the DD254 as part of the solicitation documents that offerors must submit. The Q&A provides insight into the procurement's technical and documentation requirements, though it does not specify the full scope of the procurement or provide comprehensive details about the Blue Halo Skyview units.

Questions & Answers

1. Question: The base product ships with 3x years of warranty/support. Are you wanting to extend it an additional 3x years?

Answer: Essentially, we are requesting 3 each of the Blue Halo Skyview units, and would like for each of them to have a 3 year warranty. That could be in the form of 3 each three-year warranties, or 9 each one-year warranties. The main intent behind this requirement is to ensure that the 3 each units are covered for by continual three-year warranty from the time the warranty is initiated to when it expires.

2. Question: Will a DD254 be passed along with this?

Answer: Regarding a DD 254, I will need to verify with the customer to determine if this is required. If so, we will begin working it now to include in the solicitation as part of the required documents to be included within the offeror’s submission.
