Solicitation FA568223Q7013 Questions and Answers
Q: Are you able to provide engineering drawings for this engine stand?
There are a couple of generations of the engine that have slightly different overall dimensions.
A: The drawings are proprietary to the company. However, the engine stand needs to support an engine from an HH-60G/W, which uses the General Electric T700-GE-701C/D engine.
Q: Have units like the ones on this solicitation been purchased before?
We spoke with our supplier, and they do not recognize these specs.?
A: In the initial quote sent to the government, it was mentioned that they have sold to various police departments, the Forest Service, and the US Army. A slightly larger engine stand footprint may be considered if it meets all other necessary requirements.
Q: Are there build-to prints available for this stand?
A: The owner of the design has the prints available for purchase.
Q: Given this is a US Govt requirement, are there flow down requirements you can provide?
A: With reference to the solicitation the only mandated flow down requirements are those expressly stated in FAR CLAUSE 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Products and Commercial Services paragraph (e)(1).
