03. Question (Chapter 2.2.2.2). Is it possible to use micro cable and micro ducts or shall we use traditional cables?

Answer. No, traditional cables are required.

04. Question (Chapter 2.2.1.1.1 New Fiber Optic Distribution Panel - FODP). Is there any specification regarding the FODP to be installed?

Answer. No

05. Question 5 (Chapter 2.2.12.2.3 Fiber Optic testing). Shall the result of the OTDR measures sent via .pdf file or shall we include the original .sor files?

Answer. PDF format

06. Question 6 (Chapter 2.2.11 Geospatial Deliverables). Are there any specific requirements about the coordinate system to be used for example WGS84, UTM, CH1903?

Answer. If needed, coordinates will be provided after the award.

07. Question 7 (Chapter 2.2.11 Geospatial Deliverables). Can you specify the information to be included in the shape files?

Answer. Can be provided after the award. However, see also the below further clarification:

Most likely question is about the “feature” (dbf file), eg. the name of a manhole. This is not necessary, we need the points (usually, considered the nature of the requirement, we don’t need lines or polygons) defining the paths.

Or maybe question is for the well-known text representation of coordinate reference systems. We use CRS EPSG:32633 - WGS 84 / UTM zone 33N – Projected.

The shape files should have, as a minimum 4 files:

File_name.shp File_name.shx File_name.dbf File_name.prj This is the default when pulling information from CVC.

File details come from the government source that posted it. Updated .
