Questions regarding Solicitation FA568220Q5011 (Pneumatic Aircraft Recovery Bags)

1. The solicitation calls for QTY 7 valises. The standard valise is designed to contain all 5 modules (15 elements), so that only one is required for this requirement. Is one standard valise acceptable?

One is fine.

2. The USAF standard control console (see attachments) has 15 channels, so that one control console is paired with one air bag station and therefore only one is required. Is one standard control console acceptable?

We need two separate consoles. We have to air the bags up at the same rate and height and they have to all be visible by one person.

3. In the standard configuration, no splitter is required. We would not normally include a splitter, is this acceptable??

If the compressor can only air one bag at a time then we don’t need a splitter. If the compressor can air two bags at the same time then we need a splitter.

4. The standard configuration includes 15 delivery hoses. Therefore, unless you are ordering for spares, 20 hoses are not required. Is it acceptable to offer the standard 15 hoses?

Yes, 15 hoses is fine.

5. The 9314-010 standard air bag comes with 15-meter length hoses. We are happy to quote longer hoses if required. Is 15-meter length acceptable?

Yes, 15 meters is fine.

6. For the standard configuration, only one inlet hose is required. Is one inlet hose acceptable?

No, 2 inlet hoses are required.
