About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) record related to a federal contract requirement for equipment delivery to RAF Lakenheath, a United States Air Force installation in the United Kingdom.

The document addresses four key inquiries regarding delivery logistics and product specifications. Regarding delivery location, quotes can be provided to RAF Lakenheath using the UK address (48 CES/CEX, RAF Lakenheath BLDG 115, Brandon Suffolk IP27 9PN, Tel 01638 521901) or the US APO address (48 CES/CEX, OPC 41 BOX 65 APO, AE 09461-9001); however, the vendor clarifies that APO AE is a USPS shipping address and they cannot facilitate USPS delivery. The product requirement is specified as a 2-seater unit. Additionally, the government has indicated that neither the Air Force transport and support hub nor a transport hub in New Jersey can be utilized for shipping units to the UK, placing the shipping responsibility on the contractor to arrange direct delivery to the final destination.
