Description
The US Air Force, 48th Contracting Squadron, RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom (UK) anticipates to solicit (i.e. tender) in the near future for Repair and Maintenance of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance System in support of RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell.
The previous contract fulfilling the aforementioned CCTV maintenace services was awarded under US Air Force, 48 Contracting Squadron, RAF Lakenheath contract # FA5587-12-P-0035 to ComfortZone with an effective date of 01 October 2011, for a base year plus three (3) option years. The resultant award from the anticipated solicitation/tender subject to this notice will continue to CCTV Maintenance Service from approximately 01 January 2016 through 31 December 2021; constituting a five (5)-year period of performance with a possible six (6) month extension.
The anticipated forthcoming solicitation will require companies who wish to tender, to propose prices as “Firm-fixed-Priced”; whereby such proposed pricing will not be subject to adjustment, revision, and/or negotiation during the US Government’s evaluation process leading to a subsequent contract award decision.
Requested Information
The following is requested from interested companies;
1. If/When the aforementioned service is formally solicited by the US Government, would your company be interested in providing a proposal? If so, please provide the contact details of your company.
2. With reference to the number of aforementioned RAF bases and, please indicate if your company is currently providing like-services similar in scope and complexity for any other Government or public sector agency? If, so, please provide a listing of those contracts/projects with respective agencies and estimated contract cost.
3. Based upon the information above, are there any aspects that are unclear and/or do not allow a clear understanding of the US Government’s requirements?
4. Based upon the information above, are there commercial industry practices that appear to differ greatly than what is being requested by the US Government under the anticipated, forthcoming solicitation/tender?
