1. The contractor is required to present a thorough plan to identify areas in which the presented technical solution does not adequately meet the requirements in the SOW Para 1.2. Once identified, the plan will explain the process in which the contractor will accomplish all necessary changes prior to the ordering period. How much time is anticipated between contact award and the ordering period to allow for any development time?
Answer: It’s anticipated that an award will be made in the first week of May 2019, with the ordering period to start 1 June 2019.
2. The offeror shall provide price lists as part of Volume II for any brand/manufacturer proposed with a discount in RFP Attachment 2 (Price Discount Schedule). Is the referenced price list that of the Manufacture? Or the Offeror’s Price List?
Answer: The intent is that the offeror is providing a discount off the manufacturor’s price list, therefore the offeror should submit the manufacturor’s price list.
3. The Statement of Work references approximately 400 vehicles/equipment located in the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Will the Government please provide a list of those types of vehicles / equipment for offerors to review? This will assist in determining the type of product that will be required and what discounts can be offered?
Answer: A list of vehicles will not be provided until the time of award. Offerors can utilize RFP Attachment 2 (Price Discount Schedule) to develop their pricing strategy.
