Could you please clarify the type of bed frame? The description indicates “free standing” and there are free standing metal frames with rug rollers or glides that come in heights of 5”, 7” or 9” and also there are free standing metal framed bed boxes that also come in various heights.

Is it the metal flame that holds a box spring and mattress but is not a box type? If it is just the metal frame (not box style) do you need rug rollers or glides?

- “Free-Standing” means that the headboard/footboard are separate items that can be removed/attached from the frame itself. The Frame also holds the box spring, see image below as reference. We would like the frames to have gliders (as shown in the image). We do not require a specific height but all bed frames provided MUST be the same height, no mixed heights.

Does the mattress and box springs for this RFQ have to be an approved GSA product?

GSA and open market products are acceptable as long as they meet the requirement.

You have mentioned this item only must be *Must be a US product*, but we can give you same specification but not US made, is that acceptable?

CLIN 0002 states that item MUST follow all specifications and follow the fire resistant law under consumer product safety commission 16 CFR Part 1633 specification.

*must be a US product or a product from a qualifying country IAW 252.225-7021

4-Drawer Chest (Qty: 200) Presently, tenants are using two 2-drawer chests, stacked. 2-drawer chests have slippery plastic foot-glides-dangerous for items on top.

ULC has “lockable/stackable” Chests (sort of like stacking milk crates). To maintain flexibility of two 2-rawer chests, vice one 4-drawer chest, may vendors quote Qty of 400 lockable/stackable 2- Drawer Chests?

- The 2-Drawer stackable Chests are acceptable but they MUST be able to be secured or locked in place to prevent the items from sliding off. The total quantity of 400ea (2 drawer chests) is also acceptable.
