Existing panel boards are Japanese manufactured. Arc-fault interrupter circuit breakers are not available in Japanese products; US manufactured breakers may not fit into the Japanese panel.

Please advice if the existing panel boards

Due to removal and replacement of the shower mixing valve, and bath tub, please confirm that the Ceramic Wall Tile to be replaced is the area that is disturbed, and that possible color mismatch inside the bathroom is acceptable.

Only the affected area will be replaced with new. The KTR should make every effort to match the existing tiles.

7 Existing Conditions /

Current Construction It was noticed during the Site Visit, there is a construction project currently going on at the subject Bldgs. It seems like a minor alteration, but appear to involve plumbing and electrical work. We believe, In order to develop a design, the "As-Built Drawings" for this current project, and more precise Scope of Work are essential. In turn, without them, it will be difficult to estimate for the project. Please provide the As-Builts (or at least "expected" completion drawings) for the current construction.

***Please contact Contract Specialist, Ms. Amy Jenkins, via email at amy.jenkins.3@us.af.mil for a copy of the construction drawings of the on-going project.

In D40 and D50 are applicable.

10 Statement of work : 4.1 Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) and Lead Based Paint (LBP) survey

It is explained that KTR is responsible for sampling and testing all possible ACM and

LBP. However, Quantity of such Hazmat cannot be estimated prior to sampling and testing. Are we to estimate the construction cost without any abatement/removal of ACM &

LBP? Which, consequently will have to be at an additional cost after the award. Provided test results (Attachment-9) are not sufficient enough to be considered "typical to all".

Government will issue a modification if ACM and LBP test results are positive.

Please see item #2 question and response also.
