About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing clarifications for Solicitation FA524026Q0040, issued by the 36th Contracting Squadron (36 CONS) at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, for vehicle maintenance repair parts procurement.
The Q&A resolves five substantive technical issues across multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs). For CLIN 0002, the government clarified that only one engine (part number 4045HFC04/134) is required, not two as originally listed, and confirmed this is a fully built, manufacturer-validated engine requirement. For CLIN 0006, addressing a 2012 Ford F-350 Lavatory Service Truck (VIN: 1FDEF3GT2CEB26921), the government provided manufacturer specifications for the installed equipment: Stinar Corporation Model SLS-350-PL-G with Serial Number 15900, and confirmed the correct Lift Cylinder Assembly part number is associated with the lavatory body manufacturer rather than the Ford chassis. For CLIN 0004, the government corrected two part number errors: the rear steering cylinder fittings should be 04.0607.0193GT (not duplicated as originally shown), and Line 41 should reference part number 01.4019.0021GT. These corrections ensure vendors can accurately source and price the required parts for the six-vehicle fleet maintenance package.

Q&A in response to Solicitation: FA524026Q0040 36 LRS Vehicle Maintenance Repair Parts for Six (6) Vehicles (AAFB, GUAM)
1. CLIN 0002: On the price list attachment, it looks like there may have been a drag/drop error? There are two engines listed – you just intended for the first one, correct?
Government Response: This was an error; we only require 1 engine, part number 4045HFC04/134.
2. CLIN 0002: Can you check to see if it is a valid requirement for a new engine?
Government Response: This new request is the 100% confirmed engine for this asset, fully built as required. Confirmation came from the engine manufacturer.
3. Request clarification regarding CLIN 0006, specifically the following item:
Vehicle: 2012 Ford F-350 Lavatory Service Truck Reg. No.: 12C00113
VIN/SN: 1FDEF3GT2CEB26921
Part Description: Lift Cylinder Assembly Part No.: 30545 Quantity: 1 EA
a. Could you please provide the manufacturer, model, and serial number of the lavatory service body/equipment installed on the Ford F-350? Part number 30545 does not appear to be associated with the Ford chassis, and the lavatory equipment manufacturer information would allow us to properly identify and source the correct Lift Cylinder Assembly.
Government Response: Manufacturer: Stinar Corporation Model: SLS-350-PL-G Serial number: 15900
b. If available, a photo of the equipment data plate or the existing lift cylinder would also be very helpful.
Government Response: Photo is provided
4. CLIN 0004: Lines 3 and 4 are for fittings though the listing shows them as the same part number, they are not. The rear steering cyl fittings have a part number of 04.0607.0193GT. Can you confirm?
Government Response: There was an error in the transfer of this information. We confirm that the rear fittings should be 04.0607.0193GT.
5. CLIN 0004: Line 41 - This does not appear to be a good part number. Can you please verify?
Government Response: This part number should be “01.4019.0021GT.” Please adjust and continue.
