About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA524025Q0006 regarding the rental of boom lifts for 22 Special Operations Participants/Detachment 5. The solicitation involves two line items: CLIN 0001 requires a straight boom lift with 120–140 ft platform height for 14 consecutive days from February 28 through March 13, and CLIN 0002 requires a straight boom lift with 85–100 ft platform height for 28 consecutive days from March 14 through April 10. The Government will not require lift operators during the periods of performance.
The contractor is responsible for all fuel necessary for equipment operation, with expected daily utilization of 8–10 hours per day, Monday through Saturday from 0700–1800 hours. Based on past experience, daily fuel delivery is not anticipated to be needed more frequently than every 3–4 days. The Government will not provide any fuel, and offerors should account for all fuel costs in their pricing proposals.
