About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Questions and Answers for a Department of the Air Force contract to replace football and softball scoreboards at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. The RFI addresses key details about the scoreboard replacement, including requirements for existing post compatibility, wireless controllers, and BABAA-certified equipment (specifically mentioning Daktronics as the only Made in USA scoreboard manufacturer). Shipping logistics are discussed, with Tracy AFB in California identified as the preferred delivery location to reduce freight costs. The document also clarifies that all debris from the existing scoreboards must be disposed of at an approved off-base disposal site at no additional cost to the government, as specified in section 1.1(j) of the Statement of Work.
