About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details abandoned vehicle removal services for Andersen Air Force Base (AFB) in Guam. The contractor will provide complete wrecker and towing services to remove abandoned vehicles and associated parts as identified by the 36th Security Forces Squadron, transporting them from specified locations (Lemon lot at 13.56970, 144.9287 and North gate) to the contractor's off-base storage facility. The contractor must operate during normal hours from 0730 to 1630, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and PACAF Family days, and maintain a point of contact who can respond within 48 hours during duty hours and 72 hours during non-duty hours.
The SOW includes extensive security requirements, including obtaining proper identification, complying with base traffic regulations, prohibiting weapons on base, implementing base entry procedures for restricted areas, and completing security investigations for personnel. The contractor is liable for damages resulting from carelessness and must safeguard government property. Additional provisions specify that no compensation will be claimed for delays due to military exercises, and the government will provide emergency medical transportation if required, with the contractor responsible for reimbursing medical service costs at current rates.
