MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: 36 CONS/PKB

SUBJECT: FA524024QM100: Attachment 3 – Response to RFIs

1. The purpose of this Memorandum For Record (MFR) is to provide responses to Requests For Information (RFIs) received in response to the subject solicitation.

2. Requests For Information:

Q1: We have estimated shipping costs to Guam. However, are we allowed to ship to the APO address? Please clarify.

A1: The address does accept mail from USPS, FEDEX and etc.

APO Address:

36th LRS/LGRF Unit 14043 Attn: Fuels Service Center

APO, AP 96543

Q2: We have never shipped outside CONUS before. When shipping to Guam and to an AFB, are there custom duties that have be accounted for or would that be considered US territory thus exempt from tariffs as we do when shipping to a base in CONUS. Now personally when I have shipped things to Tanzania to relatives, we always get charged a hefty tariff. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

A2: Guam is a U.S. Territory and exempt from tariffs.
