Statement of Work
PRC Radio Repairs
This Statement of Work outlines the maintenance services required for our Harris tactical radios ensuring their reliability, efficiency, and operability.
PRC-117
Radios will require a complete diagnosis test and preventative maintenance measures. Equipment has been identified as having software and firmware issues. Also, some radios will not power on.
PRC-160
Radio requires complete diagnosis test and preventative maintenance measures. PRC-160 radio will not power on.
PRC-152A
Radios will require a complete diagnosis test along with preventative maintenance measures. Equipment has been identified as having software issues, unresponsive buttons, physical damage, system faults, and power issues.
The maintenance scope of ALL the radios will encompass the following support:
1. Software Issues: Diagnosis and resolution of software-related issues, including firmware glitches, programming errors, and compatibility issues.
2. Non-responsive Buttons: Addressing malfunctioning buttons or controls to restore full operational functionality and user control.
3. RF Synthesizer Errors: Troubleshooting and rectifying RF synthesizer faults, ensuring accurate frequency generation and transmission stability.
4. Version Mismatch: Resolving discrepancies between software or firmware versions to ensure seamless compatibility and optimal performance across systems.
5. Physical Damage: Repairing physical damage such as broken knobs, cracked displays, or damaged connectors to restore equipment usability and integrity.
6. Power Failures: Investigating and rectifying issues preventing radio equipment from powering up, including power supply failures, circuitry faults, or internal component issues.
By addressing these diverse issues with precision and expertise, we are looking to optimize our radio equipment performance, reliability, and longevity, facilitating uninterrupted communication operations.
