Attachment 1 SPECIFICATIONS

HVAC COMPRESSORS

36CES, AAFB, GUAM

SCOPE: Contractor shall supply and deliver-direct, equipment for 21 Special Operations Squadron, Detachment 2 to 36th Civil Engineer Squadron (36 CES) as identified below.

SCHEDULE OF WORK: Delivery of required equipment shall be accomplished NO LATER THAN

30 CALENDARD DAYS.

INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: The 36 CES Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning

(HVAC) Shop designated representative will accomplish inspection and acceptance of delivered equipment. In the absence of other agreements negotiated with respect to time provided for government review, deliverables will be inspected and the contractor notified of the representative findings.

REQUIREMENTS:

90 TON VARIABLE-SPEED, R-134A CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSORS;

Quantity 2 Each “Brand Name or Equal” – Danfoss Turbocor TT300

SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:

Compressor shall be constructed with cast aluminum casing and high-strength thermoplastic electronics enclosures.

The two-stage centrifugal impellers shall consist of cast and machined aluminum.

Compressor design shall require no oil for lubrication.

The motor rotor and impeller assembly shall be the only major moving parts.

Compressors shall be designed for use with R134a

The compressor shall be provided with radial and axial magnetic bearings to levitate the shaft, thereby eliminating metal-to metal contact, and thus eliminating friction and the need for oil.

The magnetic bearing system shall consist of front, rear, and axial bearings.

The compressor shall have a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for linear capacity modulation, high part-load efficiency and reduced in-rush starting current.

Shall include an Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) type inverter that converts the DC voltage to an adjustable three-phase AC voltage

Inlet Guide Vanes (IGVs) shall be built-in to further trim the compressor capacity in conjunction with the variable-speed control to optimize compressor performance at low loads

The compressor shall be provided with a direct-drive, high-efficiency, permanent-magnet synchronous motor powered by pulse-width-modulating (PWM) voltage supply

The compressor shall include a microprocessor controller capable of controlling magnetic bearings and speed control.

The controller shall be capable of providing monitoring, including commissioning assistance, energy outputs, operation trends, and fault codes via a ModBus interface.

Shall be programmed with the Thermocare PLC and DELTA HMI programming for model

TCW180, Serial 168169011111. One for circuit one and one for circuit two.

Shall be compatible with Thermocare Chiller Model# TCW 180

Compressor shall be 400volt.

WARRANTY: Extended 5 year warranty.
