Any other style of rack must be approved by the 374th Communications Squadron/SCXP (374 CS/SCXP). Placement of the communication rack will first be approved by the 374 CS/SCXP. Install vertical and horizontal wire management inside the communication rack.
4.3.2 Subtask 2 – Ground communication rack. Ground communication rack to closest approved grounding location. Utilize 6 AWG, green coated ground wire. Utilize NO-OX on grounding lugs and connections to prevent corrosion. Ground test results will be no higher than 10 OHMS.
4.3.3 Subtask 3 – Install Ladder rack from communication rack to 2nd floor access point. Install ladder rack threaded rod or wall anchor type.
4.3.4 Subtask 4 – Ground ladder rack. Ground ladder rack and all joints to first available ground in accordance with industry standards.
4.3.5 Subtask 4 – Install power into communication rack. Install electrical power to communication rack from closest available power breaker panel. Specs as followed: 100- 110V, 50-60 Hertz 20 AMP 515 NEMA outlet.
4.4. Task 4 – Test
4.4.1 Subtask 1 – Test CAT 6 Network Cables. Test all network cables in facility and document results.
4.5. Task 5 – Building Cut Over and Legacy Cable Removal
