1) SPECIFICATIONS

a. Machine must be inverter controlled and should have a speed and stack size control panel.
b. Machine must be able to crisply fold sheets, pillow cases, and table clothes with a straight edge.
Width of the widest sheets to be folded is 3,000 mm or 120 inches wide.
c. Machine Stacker should be able to stack sheets to at least 5 standard king size sheets high.
d. The machine should fold garments mechanically at least one primary fold and three cross folds.
e. Operating Instruction manual should be in Japanese and or English
f. Parts and Repair schematic manual should be in Japanese and or English
g. Must be compatible size, fit and be synchronized with existing flat work iron with a minimum speed of
25 meters or 80 feet per minute.
h. Must have a dedicated control panel that is easily accessible to folding machine operator to control speed, number of pieces to be stacked and number of folds per piece.
2) OTHER INSTRUCITONS
Installation, Training other related work and Laundry Plant Map
a. Removal: In accordance with AR 210-130 paragraph 3-1, the contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and any other items or services necessary to disconnect the existing machine from all steam lines, piping and electrical hookups.
After machines have been disconnected, the contractor shall remove the machines and place it outside of the laundry plant.
b. Delivery/ Installation Schedule: The contractor shall deliver in 90 Days ARO to the shipping address above and coordinate with the COR to schedule the removal/installation. The contractor must be able to install the folder/stacker without support from the US Government. The US government will supply, steam, air and electricity on site in the Sagami Depot laundry Plant as needed.
c. Test Run: The contractor shall perform a test to ensure the new equipment is functioning properly
d. Warranty: One (1) year full service warranty to include replacement parts.
e. On-site training: The contractor shall provide basic operational training preferably in Japanese.
