At the Government’s discretion, Level II work may be accomplished by other sources (including other contracts) designated by the Contracting Officer. The Government is under no obligation to give the contractor first rights to Level II work. (Refer to 1.2. of Appendix C for Historical Data) The Level II procedure shall be as follows. When the Government recognizes Level II Work and the CO directs the work/repair within the Level II scope, the Contractor shall provide information and instruction on the work scope and the desired period of time for completion of the work in conjunction with the pricing proposal. This is subject to negotiation and will be included in the contract by separate modification. Upon issuance of contract modification, the Contractor shall perform such work/repairs IAW the terms and conditions agreed upon in the course of the negotiation.
