Salient Characteristics:

1. Laser Cleaning System: POWERLASE Vulcan 500c or equal

The portable laser cleaning system that utilizes 500 watt pulsed fiber laser that can be used for multiple cleaning applications; that include paint and coating, rust and oxidation removal. The multipurpose cleaning solution can also be used for pre-welding operations, mold cleaning and surface activation. This system will provide a means to combat the rust issues that the vehicle fleet face and an ergonomic and environmentally friendly way for technicians to complete body shop operations.

Provide the laser cleaning system that meets the following requirements:

Required Features:

-500W Compact Cleaning System -Pulse Energy Up To 40 mJ -Simple Touchscreen User Interface -Optional Integrated Fume Extractor -Adjustable Scan Speed and Scan Width -Replaceable Cover Window -Edge Blanking -220 V Single Phase

- The maximum handheld head scanner-unit dimensions shall not exceed 8” X 6” as shown on illustration provided.

-Paint and Coating Removal -Rust Removal -Surface Activation -Oxidation Removal -Pre-Weld Preparation -Surface Cleaning and Restoration -Mold Cleaning

2. Fume extractor / Suction System: LFE 401 by TEKA or equal

The fume extractor/suction system is required attachment that will be used to reduce fumes and dust particles entering the atmosphere. HEPA and HP13 carbon filters must be equipped.
