Special Needs Coordinator (SNC), Misawa AB, Japan
Q1: Will the contractor be required to travel to a US base / location or any other location outside of Misawa for mandatory training related to the EFMP program or SNC position?
If so, will the government reimburse the contractor for travel related expenses?
A1: As of right now, they are not required to travel to outside of Misawa AB, however it can be if the AFI or DHA guideline would be changed. If it happens, we will discuss at the time.
Q2: The PWS, section 7.3.1. LEAVE states: "The contractor personnel are allowed to take up to 20 work days of leave annual. Leave is classified as both annual, vacation or sick leave.
All leave after taking 20 work days is considered non-paid days and shall be deducted from the contractor’s monthly invoice."
A2: Yes. Up to 20 work days, it will be paid leave.
