3. Hi there I was just curious how many actual rooms you need for this? We are the current contract holder for this and would love to continue to support you all but can’t figure out actual volume of rooms.
- For the purpose of evaluating proposals, 10 single bedrooms and 40 double bedrooms are required. However, the required number of rooms and room types will vary once the IDIQ is established due to fluctuations in the customers’ needs throughout the performance of the contract.
4. The new Idiq will it be for same amount of rooms and soldiers or much more?

5. Is there an incumbent contractor currently performing these services?
- The current incumbent contractor is Griffon Logistics
6. If so, could you kindly provide the contract number and the total contract value?
- Contract FA502524PB015. More details can obtain on Federal Procurement Data
System (FPDS.gov) as it is public information.
7. I noticed that the solicitation has Limitations on Subcontracting. Can you tell me what the Limitations on Subcontracting for the Tinian Hotel Services IDIQ?
- Here's a simple breakdown:
• Direct Work Requirement: The company or companies that win the contract must perform a minimum percentage of the work directly. The exact percentage depends on the type of contract (like construction, services, or supplies). Since this requirement is a service, it is 50%.
• Special Small Business Rules: If the contract is set aside specifically for small businesses, these limitations often require the small business to do most of the work, ensuring they benefit directly from the government contract.
• Exclusions for Certain Expenses: Some costs, like materials or overhead, may not count towards the work requirements, so only specific parts of the project are limited by these rules.
• The main idea is to make sure that the business winning the contract does the majority of the core work themselves and doesn't just pass it all off to someone else.
8. As we proceed towards preparing a proposal as per the requirements we have a question regarding the KICK-OFF MEETING, will it be online otherwise please provide a location where it will take place.
- The kick-off meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams with an option to call in using a teleconference phone number.
