CHPP Boiler Maintenance & Repair - FA5004-17-R-0002 Questions & Answers

Question: “Will the contractor have the right to opt out of any of the option years after completing the base year?”

Answer: No. Exercising an option is the unilateral right of the government provided that the requirements in FAR 17.207 are met, in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 and FAR 52.217-9.

Question: “2. Can you define more specifically what is included in “other re-imbursables” as listed in CLIN’s 0003, 1003, 2003, 3003, & 4003?”

Answer: CLINs 0003, 1003, 2003, 3003, and 4003 are for materials and other costs associated with the repairs as detailed in the Letter of Recommended Repair provided by the contractor. Please see paragraph 1.4.1.4.4 of the PWS for a detailed description of the cost proposal for repairs.
