MEMORANDUM FOR 673 CONS
1. 3 MUNS Futures requires rapidly deployable, all weather shelter systems for working with sensitive equipment in austere environments. Weather conditions at ACE locations are unknown, and these structures will provide a covered space for sensitive test equipment, an area that maintenance can be performed even during inclement weather, as well as secure, rapid, ready to operate cargo space.
2. The following are characteristics required in the design:
a. ISU platform with a single 463L pallet footprint of 88”w x 108”l x 102”h in shipping configuration.
b. Maximum weight with all requirements of 6000 lbs. Minimum load rating of 10000 lbs.
total weight with loaded equipment.
c. One expandable side wall using the hard surface as a floor with pop out canvas walls, with a solid wall opposite. Minimum of 120 sq. ft. of working space when expanded.
d. Double entry personnel doors.
e. Canvas end wall with zip open and rollable side walls.
f. 25-40 recessed tie down points integrated into the floor for securing cargo during shipping.
g. 25-40 recessed tie down points integrated into the ceiling and ceiling perimeter for securing cargo during shipping.
h. Setup and stowage instruction placards.
i. Removable awning over double doors.
j. Protective metal curtain to protect canvas when in shipping configuration.
k. ISU will meet all ATTLA certifications from manufacturer. Manufacturer will provide all necessary analysis and reports to the user to be submitted to ATTLA for approval.
l. Two (2) each approximately 40”h x 18”d x 36”w shelves on solid end wall.
m. One (1) each approximately 40”h x 18”d x 30”w cabinet with two (2) shelves on solid end wall.
n. One (1) each approximately 40”h x 18”d x 30”w 7 drawer tool box and one (1) each approximately 40”h x 18”d x 24”w 7 drawer tool box along back wall.
o. Metal tabletops with integrated grounding on cabinets and workbenches installed IAW AFMAN 32-165 para 11.1, 11.1.1, & 11.1.2.
p. Minimum 39” wall mounted LED TV with protective cover for shipping
q. LED ceiling lighting.
r. Integrated 40A 120/240V 60Hz single phase electrical system to power LED lighting, AC unit, TV/computer monitors, and computer/tablets with a minimum of 8 receptacles, spaced throughout the working space.
s. Wrist strap grounding wire across front of grounded work surfaces installed IAW AFMAN 32-165 para 11.1, 11.1.1, & 11.1.2.
t. Static bus bar installed IAW AFMAN 32-165 para 11.2
u. Integrated connection points for external power from MEP generator, and two (2) minimum 4”x4” closable ports with rubber bungs to route communication system wiring and grounding cables separate from each other.
v. 8k BTU slide-in/slide out AC unit.
