Questions for LRS Snow Plow

# 1) Can you verify which quick coupler is on the loader? I would presume it is a Volvo ISO coupler. I’m happy to offer instructions on how to measure the coupler to verify. The plow would come with female loader quick coupler hooks, so it’s important to make sure we are sending the right coupler to match the loader.

A: The Volvo has standard couplers that come with the Vehicle. Please see the pictures in the Attachment 2 - Volvo Pictures - Coupler

# 2) Is any install required, or just delivery of the plow and its wiring harness?

A: Just the delivery of the snowplow and its wiring harness is required

# 3) You specified a plow height of 30-42”. That size of blade is not within manufacturer’s recommendations for the weight of the L90. Plows that are 42” high are only rated for loaders up to 25,000 lbs. The Volvo L90 weighs approximately 35,000 lbs. Proper sizing of that blade would put it at a height of 48”. Please verify if a plow height of 48” will be acceptable.

A: The plow height of 48” would be acceptable; we were looking at the 42” only for less stress on the vehicle.

# 4) If I’m reading this correct, we just submit our bid to you directly and not through the SAM.GOV website?

A: Yes, if we can have all bids sent directly to us it would be much appreciated versus sending through the SAM.gov website.

# 5) Do we just need to complete page 49 of the solicitation or is there additional forms to be submitted?

A: On page 49, the quote template (attachment 1) we would like that to be filled out and be submitted with your company provided written quote with the specifics of the product you would be supplying to accomplish the needs for our mission partner if awarded and what the specific measurements/ capabilities of that item.

#6) Do we need to send our Reps and Certs with our quote?

A: We normally pull each company’s reps and certs while verifying eligibility to be considered for award from SAM.gov, if your SAM.gov is not reflecting information correctly you can send those along with your quote.
