Water Sampling Service Questions & Answers

1. We would like to know if this is a brand-new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services? If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

a. There was a previous contract, FA500020P0173.

2. How would you like for your proposal to be submitted for this solicitation?

a. Please reference “2. Specific Instructions:” located in section (viii) of the solicitation document and submit proposals according to section (xv) of the solicitation document.

3. I'm writing to find out what documents need to be submitted for the proposal.

4. What kind of water is being tested? Is it well water or tap water?

a. Drinking water

5. I was wondering if you were looking for a consulting group to complete the work or if you are only looking for laboratory testing services?

a. Laboratory testing services

i. Services should also include provision of all sampling packing materials/shipping/bottles/preservatives, etc… and chains of custody, IAW Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) drinking water monitoring summaries.
