Solicitation No: FA5000-19-Q-A013 Project: Bldg 11415 Sewer Line Subject: Questions and Answers

Q1: SWPPP‐ Page 19 says no SWPPP is required, page 33 says it is‐ confirm no SWPPP Plan or NOI is required.

A1: If there is more than 1 acre of exposed soil due to the construction process will need to have a

SWPPP.

Q2: Manholes‐ page 60 calls out pressure test for proposed multi‐piece 'horseshoe' manhole. This is an unusual specification for this type of manhole. Confirm if manhole requires negative air pressure test.

A2: No negative air pressure test required

Q3: Manholes‐ page 62 reference epoxy coating interior of manhole‐ confirm that manhole does not require epoxy coating.

A3: No epoxy coating on the manhole required.

Q4: Temporary Sewer Service‐ page 60 calls out temporary sanitation as an option if sewer is not fed by family housing‐ confirm that this service is not fed by family housing and that portable sanitation is acceptable.

A4: The fire station is a 24 hour a day, seven days a week and the firefighters shower at this location.

Bypass pumping will be required as this is classified as a “housing” location.
