NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:

The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson ABW, Alaska intends to award a sole source purchase order to Harris Corporation as a result of them having. proprietary technology and security features. Due to these features, only the instrument manufacturer can provide the service required.

The 3 OSS Requires:

1. 2 EA AN/PRC-117G(V)1(C) Multiband Manpack Radios

2. 2 EA RF-5910-PS005 High performance power supply

3. 2 EA RF-5980-SA101 Speaker

4. 2 EA 10535-0707-A009 cable assembly speaker

5. 2 EA 10535-0713-A009 cable assembly speaker power

6. 2 EA RF-3193DB-AT420 tactical mast antenna

7. 2 EA 10513-0811-A200 cable assy, N to BNC, LMR-400DB

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 24 Aug 2018. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 23 Aug 2018 at 2 pm Alaska Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
