SUBJECT: Questions and Answers for RFQ FA5000-17-T-0023
Q1. We need clarification if the spent carbon would be non-haz or haz. Has anyone done a TCLP? Please advise ASAP.
A1. The carbon is non-hazardous and we don't do the TCLP because we replace the carbon every two years.
Q2. Based on your solicitation, you have 792 qty 24x24x4 filter frames. You are procuring 22,000 pounds of carbon to fill these. This will calculate to 27.77# of carbon per frame. Are you confident that that is the correct amount of carbon to be added to each frame and completely fill the frames?
A2. The 22,000 pounds of carbon asked for is the correct amount needed to fill all of the frames.
