About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics Sheet describing the ATMOSPHERE 9770-L SATCOM terminal, which is required for a federal contract opportunity.
The ATMOSPHERE 9770-L is a DC power supply with Ethernet and serial ports, SSD storage, and a processor that does not require a fan for cooling. It must be nonflammable and have a power draw of 10W or less on average. The terminal will be used to communicate with the ground control station from a group 2 UAS, providing 88kbps downlink and 22kbps uplink capabilities for command and control, telemetry, and occasional ISR photo transmission.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Sources Sought notice for a "TF-99 SATCOM Terminal" requirement. The customer claims the Planet 9770 UAV-L is the only terminal that meets their mission needs, and they are seeking brand name or equal products. Responses to this notice should include company information, past performance, and any questions or clarifications. Responses are due by 4:30 PM EST on August 24, 2024.
