About this file

This document is a Sources Sought Announcement for material handling equipment issued by the 366 Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. The Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential vendors capable of providing material handling equipment, with a targeted contract delivery of 30 days after contract date. The procurement falls under NAICS code 333924 with a small business size standard of 900 employees, and the government is specifically interested in potentially setting aside the competition for small businesses.

Interested vendors are requested to contact 2nd Lt Nathan R. Polk (nathan.polk.2@us.af.mil) or Mr. Dan Parks (daniel.parks.14@us.af.mil) with their company information, including SAM UEI, Cage Code, and small business status. The announcement emphasizes that this is a preliminary market research step and does not guarantee a future solicitation. The anticipated next step is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation or Request for Quotes (RFQ) to be issued to responsive and capable vendors, with the ultimate goal of determining whether the procurement can be limited to specific small business socio-economic categories.
