# Questions for MH AFB Answers

We'd like to conduct a site visit to view (and take pictures of) all items that will need to be processed. Can you suggest a date that would work best for your team?

We will not be conducting a site visit at this time.

Can you estimate the quantity of each item/article expected to be cleaned per week for the 366th FSS? Can you also specify any items that must be dry cleaned?

For the 2.5/table 5, the chef white top and bottoms should be dry cleaned or laundered and pressed. For J-lists and sleeping bags, as for the quantity, it varies depending on how often they are issued/returned and if we have wing exercise that uses them. The J-list items and sleeping bags are more likely once/twice a month depending on the amount, then could be as frequent as once per week.

We have had as many as 80 sets of j-list and 50 sleeping bags at one time as little as 30 J-list sets and 7 sleeping bags. The mobility bag, mitten set, balaclava, parka, mukluks and liners have not yet been cleaned in the past year, so they are very random, not consistent.

3 What are the dimensions and quantity of rags we should stock No stocking of rags is necessary. This has been amended on the PWS.

4 What are JList Coat and Pant? This is similar to a snow jacket and pants, made of cotton type material

Are pickup/drop off days flexible? Some days work better than others for our team.

366 LRS: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday work best.

366 FSS-Inn: Yes, but Mon/Thurs are preferred. Must notify if there's a change.

366 MTF: Yes, notify of changes.

366 FSS: Must notify us if they are changed from initial schedule set up.

390 ECS: Friday pick-up preferred.

366 MXS: Flexible any day during the work week.

Instead of Plastic wrapping can we use plastic bags for the medical treatment facility laundry?

No, we have items that need to be wrapped to prevent cross contamination/preserve sterilization

Can you give an estimated date that the contract will be awarded and that performance will begin?

The government is not prepared to estimate an award date for the IDIQ. Start performance of the contract will be dependent of customers needs.

Can you specify which items should be dry cleaned? I see that the curtains are specifically called out, but other than that it is unclear.

For instance, how about blankets and comforters? Can you provide a more specific estimate of the type and quantity of dry cleaned items per week?

Dry cleaning will not be needed. Removed from PWS.

9 Can you specify which linens should be pressed / ironed? MTF: Lab Coats & Scrub Jackets

10 Volume of each item? Has been added to each table on the PWS.

11 What is the cost of coveralls being washed? MXS: Coveralls Hooded $429. Coveralls Non-hooded $158
