STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR
MICROBIOLOGY AUTOMATED BACTERIAL ID AND SUSCEPTABILITY
For
56th Medical Group Clinical Laboratory Luke AFB, AZ
1. The contractor shall provide the appropriate Instrument(s) to lease with purchase of reagents, that can handle the volume of tests the type and amount stated below:

2. SIZE: Counter Top -- Can be no larger than; 29”D x 30”W x 23”H
3. CAPABILITIES:
a. Must be FDA approved.
b. Must perform identification of gram positive and gram negative bacteria.
c. Must have a current operating system capable of receiving security updates. Windows XP is not an acceptable system as it is not be supported by the Air Force.
d. Must perform antibiotic susceptibility testing for gram positive and gram negative bacteria.
e. No addition of reagents to the panels shall be required.
f. Panels shall have off-line incubation capabilities and must be able to be read visually in case of power outage or instrument malfunction.
4. CONTRACTOR WILL:
a. Provide the appropriate reagents and disposable general supplies for the equipment to run effectively and efficiently.
b. Provide the appropriate service and maintenance on the equipment.
c. Must have a current operating system capable of receiving security updates. Windows XP is not an acceptable system as it is not be supported by the Air Force
d. Provide the necessary initial training for up to 2 Technicians and annual training every year thereafter for 1 technician.
