Devices will be installed on the perimeter doors of the back-patio area for control of entry into the building hallway and eating area. Existing door position switches will remain in place. The existing exit devices cylindrical dogging cylinders will be removed and replaced with blank cylinders. Cable will be routed from each door back to the communication closet. All cable will be routed above drop tile ceilings and suspended via j-hooks. Existing pathways near the main entries across the atrium and back to the communications closet will be used. A new dual reader interface module will be installed in the communications closet in a separate enclosure. The reader interface module will be wired to the existing LNL-2220 controller. Existing panel power supply and spare ports for door hardware will be re-used. Once all devices have been installed, they will be programmed via customers existing workstations.
b. Door release buttons will be installed under the Top 3 for remote release of the (2) existing access control doors and for the (2) new access control doors. Existing cable pathways will be used to route cable back to the communications closet. Auxiliary inputs will be used on the existing controller and on the new dual reader interface module for programming the door release buttons.
2. Video Surveillance System
a. Contractor will provide and install a network video recorder with integrated PoE switch. A total of (8) IP cameras will be installed in the following locations.
1. (1) 2MP fixed dome camera will be installed in the west entry vestibule. The cameras will provide a wide-angle view. Camera will be positioned to provide the best possible view of personnel entering the vestibule.
2. (1) 2MP fixed dome camera will be installed in the east entry vestibule. The cameras will provide a wide-angle view. Camera will be positioned to provide the best possible view of personnel entering the vestibule.
3. (1) 2MP fixed dome camera will be installed on the outside patio providing a view of the entry door into the hallway of the building and an overview of the patio area.
4. (1) 2MP fixed dome camera will be installed on the outside patio providing a view of the entry door into the eating area.
5. (1) 2MP fixed dome camera with pendant adapter and wall mount will be installed near the southwest corner of the building providing general overview coverage.
6. (1) 2MP fixed dome camera with pendant adapter and wall mount will be installed near the northwest corner of the building providing general overview coverage.
7. (2) 8MP multisensory 360-degree dome camera will be installed on the back of the building in the locations that are to be determined with onsite personnel.
b. All cameras will be wired back to the network video recorder via a single Cat 6 cable. All devices will be powered via PoE. A workstation and 27” monitor will be installed on the Top 3. Once on the network the video viewing software will be installed so that all cameras feeds will be visible via the 27” monitor. The recording will be based on (6) 2MP cameras at a 1920x180 resolution, and (2) 360 camera at an 8MP resolution, H.264 compression, based on 65% motion, and 30 days of retention. Based on the estimated calculations of the total data rate, there will need to be approximately 49 Mbit/sec and require approximately 11TB of storage.
c. Once all devices have been installed, they will be programmed and tested.
d. All necessary network parameters and IP addresses are to be provided by the Luke AFB Communications Infrastructure shop as well as the contractor being able to utilize existing pathways back to the communication closet as identified by the Luke AFB Communications contractors.
