(Current as of 6-September-2024)

Q1. There is no Audio DSP that is certified and has the ability to be placed on a SIPR network to support teleconference calls so security requirements could not be met. Is the SIPR teleconference capability a hard requirement or can it be supported using an existing conferencing solution?

A1. SIPR requirement is being removed from the Performance Work Statement.

Q2. There is no Audio DSP certified to be connected to a NIPR network, however, if an analog POTs line is provided, Audio teleconference can be supported. Will the Government provide an analog POTs line to support this capability?

A2. SIPR requirement is being removed from the Performance Work Statement.

Q3. Is there access available to get into the slatted ceiling to hang new ceiling mics? If so, what type of access and where is it located as the pictures do not show where this access is located.

a. If there is no access to the slatted ceiling, should we just provide and install table microphones instead?

A3. May be possible to look at wooden ceiling panels from over the projection room walls. Please see below plans:

Q4. How is cabling to the rear speakers run currently as there is no ability to mount ceiling speakers in the slatted ceiling so new wall mounted speakers must be provided and installed?

A4. The wiring is all ran through the ceiling and over into the back room. See photos below of current speakers:

Q5. Can you clarify how many screens or what size the government is looking for?

A5. We are looking for two additional 60” screens. PWS has been updated under 3.1.1.

Q6. Will the government perform video teleconferencing using GFE Computers/Laptops?

A6. Yes, through our NIPR Laptops.

Q7. If the government wants to perform VTC from the touch panel, can you put a UCC engine on your network? You must connect a MS Teams account to the device. This requires a CAC card. Most bases have to use a GFE Computer for MS Teams.

A7. Currently this is not an option, we have to use a laptop connected to the network.

Q8. Will the government supply NIPR & SIPR laptops?

A8. Yes, we will provide our own laptops. SIPR requirement is being removed from the Performance Work Statement.

Q9. Will the government have the ability to use a SIPR computer to perform DISA GVS? Or do you need a codec?

Q14. The current screens are much larger than 55”. Is it the intent of the contract to downsize these screens?

A14. We want to use the screens that are still there. The two additional screens would be one for each wall so that people around the room have a screen to look at.

Q15. Is it acceptable to temporarily remove a light fixture to gain access to the ceiling for wiring?

A15. Things can be moved as long as they are put back into place.

Q16. Is there a crawl space in the ceiling?
