The project requires delivery and installation of a fully functional CO2 and Fiber laser system with a work area between 39"x24" and 85"x70" and minimum adjustable bed depth of 12". The system must etch tool steel (M43 and Chrome-moly), plastics, rubber, glass, acrylics, and wood with automatic laser selection based on material type. Technical specifications include a 4.5" wire pipe exhaust vent hookup, 110V power source, attachments to prevent shifting during etching, rotary attachment for cylindrical objects, task plate for tool steel engraving, Windows 10/11 compatible design software, and an integrated camera system for alignment and positioning. Installation must occur during business hours (Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30). The vendor shall deliver three primary deliverables: (1) fully installed and functional dual laser system, (2) on-site training for five personnel on equipment operation, and (3) installation completion during specified business hours. The 74th FGS is responsible for providing necessary resources, approving deliverables, and removing the existing laser etcher. Acceptance criteria require all deliverables be delivered to the 74th FGS with approval from Technical Sergeant Best or Master Sergeant Seery, and trained personnel must demonstrate proficiency in system operation.
