Ques�ons and Answers, FA483024Q0019 BDG Tac�cal Training

1. Q: Who, if any, is the current incumbent?

A: There is no incumbent as this is a new requirement.

2. Q: Will the government accept former US Marine Infantry qualified instructors and US Marine Special Opera�on instructors in lieu of US Army Infantry qualified instructors and US Army Special Opera�on instructors?

A: No, the 823d Base Defense Squadron training is pulled directly from Army doctrine and set-up.

3. Q: The referenced SOW sec�on states, " The awarded contractor will provide Instruc�on, and training scenarios as listed in the 820th Base Defense Group (820 BDG) Master Training Plan." Does the Government agree the 820th Base Defense Group (820 BDG) Master Training Plan and mission essen�al task should be provided in advance of training to effec�vely plan, develop, execute the units training plan?

A: Yes, the Government agrees to provide documenta�on as it is to streamline the instruc�on.

4. Q: Will the Government provide the an�cipated class size for instruc�on?

A: An�cipated class size is 24 students.

5. Q: Is the Government providing exis�ng academic instruc�on material from which to teach or is the contractor responsible for developing course material as well as instruc�ng the requested courses?

A: The Contractor is responsible for providing instruc�on material and developing course material.

6. Q: Does the Government intend for the awarded contractor to augment Ac�ve Duty instructors or provide contractor only instruc�on?

A: The contractor will be providing instruc�on, not the Government.

7. Q: Does the Government plan on providing, facilita�ng, reserving the use of training facili�es (e.g.

Classrooms with mul�-media capability, training areas, ranges, simulators, ammuni�on, etc.)?

A: Yes, the Government is providing the use of training facili�es.

8. Q: The referenced SOW sec�on states, "Subject mater experts (SMEs)/Instructors capable of providing the most current crisis response tac�cs relevant to current events at the Secret level." Does the Government require instructors who currently hold a secret clearance? Will the Government be providing a DD 254?

A: Yes, the Government will provide a DD 254.
