About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers document dated September 2, 2026, addressing contractor inquiries regarding a Jump Starters procurement. The government clarifies that the remote 10–15 gallon fuel tank must be included with the quoted unit and factored into the total offered price. A truck bed installation kit including mounting hardware, brackets, and vibration isolators is required; however, contractor installation is not required. The detailed specification controls the performance requirement, mandating units deliver a minimum of 24 CFM at 100 PSI with a maximum of 175 PSI. The baseline requirement is the Vanair 052236 30-gallon tank-mount version or an approved equal meeting all salient characteristics, with the remote fuel tank included in the offered price.

Quotes must be submitted electronically via email to the Contracting Officer at rebecca.cudjoe.1@us.af.mil and Contract Specialist at mekayla.dedo.2@us.af.mil by September 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM Central Time. The government confirms that manufacturer technical literature and commercial warranty documentation are acceptable as evidence of compliance with salient characteristics and the one-year warranty requirement. Offerors should refer to the addendum to RFO 52.212-1 for updated instructions and the addendum to RFO 52.212-2 for evaluation factors.
