Performance Work Statement (PWS)

AAMVA CMVE BCS Course Area

1. Scope of work: Per AFI 24-301, chapter 5.9.1.1. The Air Force has adopted the national standards established for certification on tractor-trailer combination, bus (designed to carry 16 or more passengers) and fuel tanker vehicle. TVO serves as the sole certification authority on the installation, (T-0). To accomplish this, Tyndall AFB Base Ground Transporta�on is required to have an AAMVA Cer�fied Basic Skills Course (BCS) area on an unobstructed, paved and level surface suitable for heavy vehicles. Currently Ground Transporta�on does not have a BCS painted in the yard, a contracted company is needed to paint the course in a �mely manner. The contractor will paint the course within 1" of the provided BCS Area Measurements.

2. Period of performance: Period of performance would be once the company was able to acquire the materials and schedule a �me to come and paint the course. Once approved, the company has the necessary paint, which will take 1-2 weeks, and then schedule a �me to come to provide the service. A �me and date have not been confirmed. We are hoping to have the lines painted before 03 June 2024 or in accordance with contract period of performance.

3. Physical loca�on: The loca�on of the pain�ng will be at the Ground Transporta�on facility 231 Louisiana Ave, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403, BLDG 36276. POC for this will be SSgt Logan Tabbut: 850-283-9340. Do not contact Logan Tabbut un�l a�er contract award and approved by the contrac�ng officer.

4. Supplies and equipment: The Government will not be providing any equipment or materials to the company. The company accomplishing this requirement shall supply their own tools and equipment for the pain�ng.

5. Acceptance Criteria: Ground Transporta�on & AAMVA TVOE program manager will inspect and verify the BCS area meets standards a�er it has been painted.
