Questions & Answers

1. Page 1 asks for the contract/GSA number. Is this the solicitation number?

Govt. Answer: This is simply asking whether you have a GSA schedule. If you do, then you would provide it here.

2. Does 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications need to be filled out and included the submittal?

Govt. Answer: Please see the first paragraph of the provision (beginning on page 11) - “The offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) of this provision if the Offeror has completed the annual representations and certification electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) Web site located at http://www.sam.gov/portal. If the Offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically, the Offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (u) of this provision.”

3. Section 2.2.1(g) states it is the contractor's responsibility to cut and cap all utilities.

What should the contractor do in the event that the water valves are not able to be shut off at the building?

Govt. Answer: Please see section 8 for specific utility considerations.

4. We were going through the bid files for this project and were wondering if there is an asbestos report for the buildings that are being demoed?

Govt. Answer: We do not have asbestos reports for buildings, which is why abatement surveying has been included in the scope of work.

5. Please advise if the Pre bid meeting on 8/21/19 @ 9 am was a mandatory meeting. I do not see that it was in the bid package as required to attend or Mandatory. If it was not, May a site visit be scheduled?

Govt. Answer: The site visit was not mandatory. Contractors can still submit quotes even if they did not attend. There will be no additional site visits scheduled.
