About this file

The document is a list of clarification questions regarding a Boom Lift federal contract opportunity for the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command. The questions seek to resolve two specific technical specifications: (1) the engine type required, with options of a Diesel DEUTZ D 2.9L Tier 4 Final 49 hp or a Dual Fuel Ford MSG425 84hp engine, and (2) the steering configuration, with options of two-wheel or four-wheel steering. The responses indicate a preference for the Diesel DEUTZ engine and two-wheel steering configuration.

Boom Lift Questions

- Within the Statement of need it states:

Engine Type – Diesel DEUTZ D 2.9L Tier 4 Final 49 hp

Engine Type – Dual Fuel Ford MSG425 84hp

Can you clarify whether the diesel or the dual fuel engine is needed?

Engine Type – Diesel DEUTZ D 2.9L Tier 4 Final 49 hp

- The requirements reference both two-wheel steer (which is standard) and the optional four-wheel steer. Would you like us to send two separate quotes, or is there a specific one you require?

Two-wheel steering is all we need
